Product Plan

Six-month roadmap, technical specifications, and the minimum victory condition for WritersLogic — the cryptographic infrastructure that proves you wrote it, without capturing a word of the content.

Minimum Victory Condition

Six months post-graduation, WritersLogic meets the following measurable thresholds across Team, Product, and Traction.

T

Team

  • Founder operating full-time on the business
  • Lead Systems Engineer hired post-funding (Rust/TEE)
  • Advisory board operating on bi-weekly cadence — Drummond Reed (Strategy), Dongyeop Kang (AI/NLP), Dacia Arnold (Industry/Publishing)
P

Product

  • macOS app live on Apple App Store
  • Windows app shipped with TPM 2.0 support
  • Chrome and Firefox extensions in active update cycle
  • Public billing operational: monthly subscription, one-time purchase, and per-certification fee tiers
T

Traction

  • 500–1,000 individual writers paying to certify their work
  • At least one writer-organization distribution partnership active (Jericho Writers or equivalent)
  • One full quarter of measured subscription retention data
  • Fiction publisher and literary agent conversations opened from demonstrated writer adoption numbers

6-Month Roadmap

3M

3-Month Targets

August 2026

  • macOS app approved and live on Apple App Store
  • Public billing open: monthly subscription, one-time purchase, per-certification fee
  • Windows app shipped with full TPM 2.0 support
  • Certification UX complete — writers receive, share, and display their certificate independently
  • Jericho Writers distribution partnership initiated
6M

6-Month Targets

November 2026

  • Certificate Authority infrastructure hardened to writer-scale concurrent load
  • Per-certification fee tier operational for pay-as-you-go writers
  • C2PA manifest embedded in all certificates for third-party platform compatibility
  • At least one full billing quarter of subscription retention data in hand
  • Fiction publisher and literary agent conversations opened from a position of demonstrated demand
  • Conference registration funded — peer-reviewed research papers published from accepted submissions

Business Model

Writer-direct certification. Individual writers pay to certify their work and carry that credential independently. Publisher and institutional adoption follows writer adoption — not the other way around.

Monthly Subscription

Recurring access to the browser extension and web certification suite. Ideal for active writers who certify work regularly.

One-Time Purchase

Permanent license for the desktop application (macOS or Windows). Full Jitter Seal hardware-backed certification with no ongoing fee.

Per-Certification Fee

Pay only when you certify. No subscription required. Designed for writers who certify infrequently or want to start with a single document.

Project Specifications

CPoE Protocol Engine (Rust)

  • Keystroke dynamics — inter-key timing intervals create a behavioral fingerprint unique to each writer and document
  • Sequential Work Functions — CPU-intensive hash computations (~850 ms/checkpoint) make backdating mathematically impossible
  • Tamper-evident hash chains — Merkle Mountain Range structures prove no evidence was altered after the fact
  • Hardware binding — TPM 2.0 (Windows) and Secure Enclave (macOS) attestation locks signing keys to the physical device
  • Zero-content capture — the protocol records behavioral metadata only; no text ever leaves the writer's machine
  • 674 engine tests passing; evidence packets self-verify offline with no server dependency

SDK Architecture (TypeScript)

  • pnpm monorepo — 10 packages: core, evidence, feature-engine, storage, device, api-client, connectors, sync, report, witnessd-wasm
  • Build order: core → feature-engine / api-client / storage / connectors → evidence / device → sync / report
  • tsup bundling (ESM + CJS), vitest testing — 238+ tests passing across 11 test files
  • AGPL-3.0 open-source core; commercial license available for proprietary integrations

Web Application (React 19 / Cloudflare Pages)

  • React 19.2, TypeScript 5.9, Vite, Tailwind CSS — deployed to Cloudflare Pages at the edge
  • Supabase (Postgres + RLS) for cloud state; Dexie / IndexedDB for offline-first local storage
  • Stripe billing integration — subscription, one-time, and usage-based tiers
  • In-browser ML via Hugging Face Transformers.js — 12-layer forensic ensemble runs client-side; text never sent to a server
  • 1,064+ tests passing

Standards & Intellectual Property

  • IETF — 11 active Internet-Drafts, more in preparation
  • C2PA specs-core participant — C2PA manifest integration planned for certification output
  • Patent pending — continuation filings and PCT international application planned
  • 6 arXiv preprints (arxiv.org: 2601.17280, 2602.01663, 2603.00177, 2603.00178, 2603.00179, 2604.15751)
  • 4 IANA registrations — Private Enterprise Number, 2 media types, 1 CBOR tag
  • AGPL-3.0 core + proprietary desktop apps + commercial licensing at [email protected]
