MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
Pilot Program for Verified Human Authorship
Between [Institution] (“the Institution”) and WritersLogic, Inc. (“WritersLogic”)
Dated October 16, 2026
1. Purpose.
The Institution wishes to evaluate whether Authorship Reports produced by WritersProof allow its staff to verify that submitted writing was produced by the person who submitted it, using evidence of the writing process rather than statistical guesses about the text. WritersLogic wishes to demonstrate that verification works inside the Institution's existing workflow.
2. Scope of the pilot.
Areas: [pilot areas]. Expected volume: [estimated volume] Authorship Reports over the pilot. Systems the pilot should work alongside: to be identified during onboarding.
3. What the Institution will do.
Name a pilot coordinator ([coordinator]). Identify the staff who will verify reports. Give WritersLogic feedback at the midpoint and end of the pilot. Allow WritersLogic to describe the Institution as a pilot participant, with the Institution’s approval of any public statement.
4. What WritersLogic will do.
Provide WritersProof and the verification tools at no cost for the pilot term. Train the coordinator and verifying staff. Provide support within one business day. Keep every writer's text on the writer's own device; the Institution receives reports and verification results, never keystrokes or drafts. Provide the Institution with a summary of results at the end of the pilot.
5. Success criteria.
The parties agree the pilot succeeds if:

9. Nature of this memorandum.
This memorandum records the parties' shared intent. It is not a binding contract, creates no financial obligation, and does not grant either party rights in the other's intellectual property. Any commercial agreement will be documented separately.
